Clip of Selena Gomez & David Henrie In Original 'Wizards of Waverly Place' Pilot Revealed - Check It Out!

A scene from the original pilot episode of Wizards of Waverly Place has been released!

The clip shared to social media by the Wizards of Waverly Pod accounts features Selena Gomez and David Henrie, and you can see just how different the show was before it made it to air on Disney Channel.

In the clip, we see Selena returning from a trip to Paris, which she used a special, magic transport ring for. Her character’s name was also Julia, a far cry from Alex. Check it out below!

If you didn’t know, the original pilot was titled, “The Amazing O’Malley’s,” and instead of a sub shop, it took place in the O’Malley’s Magic store, where Selena and David‘s characters were supposed to be twins. Find out more about the original pilot here!

In case you missed it, on the Wizards re-watch podcast, it was also revealed that Selena almost starred in another show on Disney Channel with one of her co-stars.
