“Dear Beanz, The last 8 years has been such an amazing journey that was only possible due to the endless love and support you shared with us. We want to thank you for sharing such beautiful memories and making this the best group to ever be a part of,” the guys wrote.

“As some of you may know, all of us in the group have been focusing on our personal careers whether that be musically, physically or creatively and growing as men. It’s important for us to inform you that we will be stepping away from the PRETTYMUCH project to fully pursue what life has to offer for us individually,” PRETTYMUCH continued.

“We ask that you show each and everyone of us with the same love and respect you have always shown and to continue to support us no matter what path we decide to take,” they said. “We have the privilege of owning the PRETTYMUCH name leaving the opportunity for it to grow into something new and different in the future as a possibility. After all PRETTYMUCH is a home and we hope that it feels like that to you too. We can’t thank you enough for being the best fans in the world. We rockin PRETTY, PRETTYMUCH”

The news of the indefinite hiatus comes a year after Nick Mara announced he was leaving the band.

Earlier this year, PRETTYMUCH released their debut studio album, This Thing Called Love.
