The late Naya Rivera played the quick-witted and sharp-tongued Cheerio with a heart of gold Santana Lopez. She and then-husband Ryan Dorsey welcomed a son named Josey in September 2015. Naya tragically passed away in 2020 during a boating trip with her son. It is believed that she used all of her energy to save him after they got stuck in the water. Ryan provided an update on their son’s well-being in March 2023.
