Ariana Greenblatt Addresses Comments On Her Pouty Face On Red Carpets, Reveals Why She Does It

Ariana Greenblatt is opening up about her pouty face in pictures!

The 16-year-old actress has been hitting the red carpet often over the last year after starring in the Barbie movie, and many have commented on the face she makes in photos.

In a new interview with Teen Vogue, where she was named one of their New Hollywood Class of 2024, she revealed why she is the “queen of pouting.”

Ariana calls the pout a “protective veil” to help process the amount of attention.

“That’s my go-to face to block out any sense of doubt or fear,” she said.

The Borderlands actress also has other ways to help protect her mental health, including creating a boundary between herself and social media comments.

“That stuff really affects me,” Ariana shared.

“You’re perceived in so many different ways by so many different people,” she adds, “and you really don’t have any control [over] it.”
