The Little Mermaid's Halle Bailey Reacts to First Teaser For New Series 'Disney Junior's Ariel'

Disney debuted a first look teaser at the upcoming preschool animated series Disney Junior’s Ariel!

The upcoming series, which was first announced in June 2023, follows “8-year-old mermaid princess Ariel as she and her friends embark on fun-filled, action-packed underwater adventures throughout their Caribbean-inspired fairytale kingdom of Atlantica and beyond.”

After the teaser was posted online, recent live-action Ariel Halle Bailey shared her reaction to the first look!

The upcoming new series will debut on Disney Junior this summer!

Starring in the show are Raven’s Home actress Mychal-Michelle Harris as Ariel, Amber Riley as Ursula and Taye Diggs as King Triton, as well as Elizabeth Phoenix Caro and Cruz Flateau as Ariel’s friends Lucia and Fernie, and Gracen Newton as Flounder.
