Kit Connor Premieres New Movie 'The Wild Robot' at TIFF With Lupita Nyong'o & More

Kit Connor wears a blue suit while hitting the red carpet at the premiere of his new movie The Wild Robot held on Sunday (September 8) at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Ontario.

The 20-year-old Heartstopper star posed for photos with co-star Lupita Nyong’o at the premiere, held during the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.

Also in attendance were their co-stars Catherine O’Hara, Mark Hamill and Stephanie Hsu, as well as director Chris Sanders and Maren Morris, who sings “Kiss the Sky,” an original song for the movie. Mark‘s wife Marilou and daughter Chelsea showed their support as well!

The Wild Robot is an “epic adventure follows the journey of a robot—ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” for short (Nyong’o) — that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.”

The upcoming animated feature will hit theaters in just a few weeks, on Friday, September 27th. Check out the trailer right here!
