A source is speaking out about JoJo Siwa and her missing 2022 Kids’ Choice Awards invitation.
If you missed it, the 18-year-old past KCA winner and 2022 nominee took to social media to respond to fans asking why she wasn’t in attendance.
JoJo shared, “The answer is very simple. I wasn’t invited. I’m not sure why, but I just didn’t get an invite.”
Now, a source is saying her not getting an invite was just an “honest mistake.”

JoJo Siwa has revealed why she wasn’t at Nickelodeon’s 2022 Kids’ Choice Awards.
After many fans reached out asking why she didn’t attend the awards show, the 18-year-old entertainer shared a video explaining that she “wasn’t invited” to this year’s event.
“A lot of you have been asking me why I wasn’t at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards tonight, and the answer is very simple. I wasn’t invited,” JoJo shared on Instagram. “I’m not sure why, but I just didn’t get an invite.”
JoJo not being invited to the KCAs comes about a year after she claimed Nickelodeon was stopping her from performing her own music on her Nickelodeon’s JoJo Siwa D.R.E.A.M. The Tour.
It was a night of 1,000 slimes at the 2022 Kids’ Choice Awards held at the Barker Hangar on Saturday (April 9) in Santa Monica, Calif.
Hosts Miranda Cosgrove and Rob Gronkowski were among the stars that got slimed during the show.
They aimed for 1,000 slimes, and with the help of many all over the country, they made it 998 by the end of the show. The co-hosts then became the final two needed to reach their goal!
In addition, there were quite a few celebs who also got slimed, including one who was slimed so hard they fell down.

Kid Cudi showed off a different look during his performance at the 2022 Kids’ Choice Awards held at Barker Hangar on Saturday (April 9) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 38-year-old rapper and actor performed his song “Stars In The Sky” from the new movie Sonic The Hedgehog 2, which is now in theaters!
For his performance, Cudi donned pointy ears, and his daughter Vada Wamwene Mescudi even joined him.
Kid Cudi was one of only two performers at the show. Jack Harlow also took the stage to perform for the crowd. See the pics and more of his performance!

The cast of Nickelodeon’s newest comedy Warped! slayed the orange carpet at the 2022 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (April 9) at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, Calif.
Milan Carter, Christopher Martinez, Anton Starkman, Ariana Molkara and Kate Godfrey all stepped out for the annual Nick awards show.
