Joey Bragg is coming back to our TV screens in the new show Call Your Mother!
The former Liv and Maddie star is set to play Freddie Raines in the series, premiering TONIGHT (January 13) on ABC.
Freddie is “Jean’s baby. He’s handsome, earnest, bright and sensitive. He’s a successful video game developer, has a beautiful girlfriend, a great apartment… he’s also deeply connected to his mother. One look from her can unravel his usual confident exterior and turn him back into the sensitive seventh grade boy his mom still thinks of him as who failed Spanish three times.”
Here’s a synopsis: Jean, an empty-nester mom, wonders how she ended up alone while her children live their best lives thousands of miles away. She decides her place is with her family, and as she reinserts herself into their lives, her kids realize they might actually need her more than they thought.
The Liv and Maddie actor and the Daybreak actor will star in the upcoming ABC comedy series My Village, Deadline reports.
Joey and Austin – along with Rachel Sennott and Emma Caymares – have been cast as series regulars opposite Kyra Sedgwick.
Pam Fryman will direct the pilot for the multi-camera comedy.

Austin Crute will portray Lane, “Jackie’s (Sennott) roommate. Also from the Midwest. His parents stopped talking to him when he came out. Lane is thrilled to have Jean around as a surrogate mother-figure. He’s a deeply loyal friend to Jackie. He’s not quite figured out the LA gay scene and will gladly accept Jean’s wisdom and home cooking.”

The new 10-episodes series takes place during the apocalypse and only teens have survived.
Here is the official synopsis: High school isn’t the end of the world… until it is. In this post-apocalyptic, genre-bending series, the city of Glendale, California is populated by marauding gangs of jocks, gamers, the 4-H Club, and other fearsome tribes who are kicking ass as they fight to survive in the wake of a nuclear blast (on the night of Homecoming…ugh). Following an eclectic group of survivors as they navigate this strange and treacherous world, Daybreak is part samurai saga, part endearing coming-of-age story, and part Battle Royale.

The 23-year-old actor was joined by his co-star Sophie Simnett, who wore a gorgeous white suit.
The cast also premiered the official trailer for the audience before it’s release on Monday (October 7).
The new show takes place in a post-apocalyptic Glendale, Calif. where a groups of teenagers must fight to survive after a societal collapse. After a nuclear blast transforms all adults into zombies, teens from the local high school band together. Amid the chaos, one teenage outcast searches for his lost love.
