The young stars of Big Little Lies are the life of the party!
The cast of the HBO hit turned out for the season 2 premiere and after party on Wednesday night (May 29) at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Kathryn Newton, Iain Armitage, and the show’s other young stars, weren’t just a part of the party – they were the highlight of it.
Iain really stole the show, dancing with his co-star and on-screen mom, Shailene Woodley, at the premiere’s after party.
Ivy George, Cameron Crovetti, Nicholas Crovetti, Darby Camp, and Chloe Coleman were also in attendance.

Shailene Woodley knows about the power of dance!
The 27-year-old actress stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote season 2 of her HBO hit, Big Little Lies, in an episode airing Thursday (May 30).
Shailene and Ellen bonded over their shared love of dance, which Shailene calls “medicine.”
“I dance a lot in real life and then sometime I decide to post them [on social media],” Shailene explained as clips of her dance-capades played on a screen in the background. “There’s so much in the world that can get you down and there’s a lot of fear and dancing is just medicine.”
The Divergent actress also opened up about living in France – which is exactly what she’s been doing for the last two years.
“I was living in France for the last two years, which was really fun,” Shailene shared. “It is very different than America and culturally it was a bit of a shock living there at first. Everything is kind of a lot slower. People don’t take your food away before you’re finished eating it which was a welcome surprise because here I feel like you’re still chewing and waiters just take your food away.”

The 26-year-old Big Little Lies star was seen filming scenes for her hit show on Tuesday (June 12) in Monterey, Calif.

Shailene was seen catching waves alongside the cast and crew, wearing a thick wetsuit to stay warm in the frigid ocean water.
Shailene was seen paddling in a canoe alongside co-star Nicole Kidman while shooting another scene for the upcoming second season of their hit show. Reese Witherspoon was also seen on set watching over production.

The actors were joined by their co-stars Nicole Kidman and Douglas Smith, as well as the twin boys who play Nicole‘s sons, while filming the scene.

Douglas rocked a black wetsuit, a surfboard, and a full head of curly brown hair.
The duo shared some laughs as they chatted away.
