Jennette McCurdy is pretty in purple at the 2013 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party on Friday night (September 27) in Los Angeles.
The 21-year-old actress, in Armani, took to Twitter earlier this week to send out some thank you messages to her second family after her mother’s funeral.
“Truly thankful to the wonderful friends who showed their support today. My second family @NickelodeonTV has gone above and beyond,” she wrote. “Especially thankful to @DanWarp @MirandaCosgrove @ColtonTran @NathanKress @ArianaGrande @RBWeiner @CameronOcasio @mareecheatham.”

The 21-year-old actress’ mother Debra just recently passed away after battling breast cancer for over seventeen years.

Sending prayers to Jennette McCurdy and her family — her mom, Debra, has passed away.
Sources confirm to JustJaredJr.com that Debra passed away early Friday morning (September 20).
According to TMZ, who first reported the news, Debra has been battling breast cancer for close to 17 years and was in remission before it returned in 2010.
“My mother, the constant optimist and effervescent, sprightly woman I know her to be, is caged along with this hideous beast they call cancer,” Jennette wrote in a piece about cancer.
