The Shadowhunters starlet joined Olympian Meryl Davis and actor/activist Kat Graham at the annual event.
If you don’t know, SIMPLY LA is the premier conference business focused on fashion and beauty insiders, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and influencers.
The aim is to connect individuals and give them the tools they need to succeed in the fashion & beauty industry.
The two former Vampire Diaries stars caught up at the Pizza Hut lounge, in between promoting their new projects at the annual event. If you remember, Kat and Michael played one of the most amazing couples on the show – Bonnie and Enzo.
After SDCC, Kat headed to the Summer 2018 Television Critics Association Press Tour in Beverly Hills to chat about her new animated series, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
There, she also confirmed that she won’t be popping up on TVD‘s second spinoff series, Legacies.
“Anything is possible, but I will say I spent eight years playing this character and I said to my fans last year when we got the Teen Choice Award that I felt like that chapter is closed,” Katshared. “I say that with absolute gratitude and appreciation, but I don’t feel like reprising a character that was almost 10 years of my life. I’m very grateful, but I’m not interested.”

Joined by Omar Miller, Ben Schwartz, Josh Brener, Brandon Mychal Smith and Eric Bauza, the cast actually dropped the first look at the upcoming animated series, which will air on Nickelodeon in September.
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles follows the Turtles on all-new adventures as they master new powers, encounter absurd mutants and battle bizarre villains, each with their own motivations.
Ranging from mystics, mutants and madmen, new creatures and villains emerge to take on Raph, Leo, Donnie and Mikey in battles across New York City. From the tallest skyscraper to the dankest sewer drain, the brothers learn to work together and navigate the perils of New York City and the hidden realms below in order to fulfill their destiny to become a team of heroes.
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will premiere on Monday, September 17th.
If you go to any Comic-Con event, one of the biggest and most fun things is getting dressed up as your favorite character – and Dove Cameron did it!
After attending a panel for Marvel Rising, the 22-year-old actress met up with Kat Graham, and they both got dressed up in cosplay.
Kat, who chose to dress up as her actual character in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, April O’Neil, shared a pic of the two on her Instagram Stories.
You can see in the pic that Dove dressed up as Spider-Man. We love this little nod to her own Marvel Rising character, Ghost Spider, and former character, SpideyGwen from Ultimate Spider-Man.

The 22-year-old actress just wrapped up filming on Descendants 3 and flew straight to the annual convention to promote her new animated series, Marvel Rising.
Kat Graham, and her Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cast - Josh Brener, Brandon Mychal Smith, Ben Schwartz and Omar Miller - were also seen at the event.
On her Instagram Stories, Kat even had a cute reunion with former Vampire Diaries co-star Paul Wesley.

Kat Graham stops by the Build Series for an interview about her new Netflix movie in New York City on Friday (July 13).
While discussing her new project How It Ends, the 28-year-old actress also opened up about creating a new narrative when it comes to people of color in the world of film.
“I’m hoping that through the art that I’m making and I’m supporting that the narrative gets changed,” she shared.
Kat added, “I hope that what people are watching on television translates to how they are moving throughout the world.”
Kat Graham might have millions of fans, but you have to know that she’s an even bigger fan of you.
Speaking with SiriusXM’s The Michelle Collins Show, the 28-year-old How It Ends actress opened up about her deep relationship with her fans and appointed captains around the world.
“I’m obsessed with them to a terrifying degree,” Kat admitted during her interview. “I have a group of captains, so in every country I have one fan who has had been the most hard core, amazing, brilliant fan of that country…they have full access to me.
She continued, “They have email, cell phone, everything…so if anything happened with my fans, they’d go to a captain in their certain country and they can get in touch with me.”
