Simone Biles just hams it up with Aly Raisman by her side for the cameras while arriving at the 2017 ESPY Awards held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Wednesday (July 12).

The two Final Five team mates met up with Laurie Hernandez, Gabby Douglas and Madison Kocian at the event after walking the red carpet together.

2008 All-Around champion Nastia Liukin was also at the event, with her hunky fiance Matt Lombardi.

Mackenzie Ziegler looks so so cute at the premiere of Descendants 2 held at Arclight Theater in Hollywood on Tuesday night (July 11).

The singer/dancer, wearing a Cinq a Sept dress, flew back from her tour with Johnny Orlando just to attend the premiere, along with Chloe Lukasiak and Sophia Grace.

One of the most shocking moments on Dancing With The Stars wasn’t about anyone getting voted off, but when we all learned that Laurie Hernandez‘ grandmother had passed away and she had been kept in the dark about it during season 23.

The Olympic gymnast is starting to open up more about her grandmother, Brunilda, who was battling Alzheimer’s, for Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month.

“When I did find out I got to fly home for the week. So the day after she had passed, I got to come home,” Laurie shared in a new interview. “I didn’t know yet. Nobody had told me, but when I came home my dad sat me down with everybody and told me the news.”

Her grandmother’s death definitely hit Laurie hard, but sometimes, when it’s such a tough thing to learn, you can’t find any emotions.

“I didn’t cry at first. I don’t think it hit me, really, just because I had been traveling so much I’d gotten used to not seeing her as much,” she shared. “So when they told me, I was in shock, I guess. And then a few days later, it hit me and of course it hit when the cameras were on, so that was definitely really hard.”

DWTS was aware of her grandmother’s death and did everything they could to make Laurie feel loved.

“The producers and cast and everybody were really sweet. They had written a card sending all their prayers and there was a lot of support from everyone, so that made it a lot better.”

Tonight’s the night we get to see Laurie Hernandez make her Disney Channel debut!

The Final Five gymnast and DWTS champ will be guesting on Stuck in the Middle as herself for tonight’s episode, “Stuck in a Gold Medal Performance”.

In the ep, while trying to tap into her Latina heritage, Georgie (Maisonet) has Laurie over for a Diaz family dinner — and yes, it spins out of control. We mean, they’re the Diazes.

“I was so excited to meet and work with Laurie,” Kayla shared exclusively with JJJ.

“She was a pleasure to have on and off set, and we shared so many laughs,” she adds. “When the episode was over we all missed her.. it wasn’t the same!”

So, that’s a sure sign she’s coming back, yes? WE HOPE!

“Stuck in a Gold Medal Performance” airs TONIGHT @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Simone Biles and Laurie Hernandez are just two of the many nominees at the 2017 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports!

The two Final Five gymnasts are nominated alongside the best athletes in the world for the show, which will air on Sunday, July 16th @ 8PM ET/PT.

Hosted by Seattle Seahawks’ quarterback Russell Wilson, the event will be taped ahead of time on Thursday, July 13th from UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles.

“Super excited and honored to three-peat and host Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Sports 2017,” Russell shared. “Kids get ready… three times the slime coming your way.”

Beginning today, May 31st, kids will be able to�cast their votes for their favorite athletes and all-star moments from the past year.

Laurie Hernandez is one step closer to her Disney dream — she’s guest starring on Stuck in the Middle!

The Olympic gymnast will be guest starring as herself on a future episode of the hit Disney Channel show.

In her episode, titled “Stuck in a Gold Medal Performance,” Laurie is invited to the Diaz residence for a friendly family dinner, which quickly spins out of control and goes utterly awry.

“Guess who is guest starring on #StuckInTheMiddle next month,” Kayla Maisonet shared the news on her Instagram. “@lauriehernandez_ otherwise known as my hometown hair twin!!! We had the pleasure of working with [her].”

“Stuck in a Gold Medal Performance” will air on June 23rd.
