Lizzy Greene Pretty Much Wants To Do It All

Lizzy Greene Pretty Much Wants To Do It All

Lizzy Greene has dreams — big, big dreams when it comes to her career.

In her cover story with Prune magazine, the Nickelodeon star dished on what kind of projects she’s looking out for, beyond Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn.

“I do love doing this [acting], and it’s something I’d love to do for the rest of my life. I would love to get into movies, and ideas with a more mature subject,” she shared. “I love horror movies, so I’d love to do that. I also love singing and fashion.”

Lizzy adds, “I started out doing the talent show every year singing, so that is where I originated from. I’d love to get into singing more.

“I would also love to get into fashion business. My style has grown since I first started because I’m around all of these incredible fashion idols. I love fashion so much.”

We love Lizzy‘s big dreams!

Lizzy Greene stars as Dawn on Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, and knows she owes a lot to the show for being where she is today.

In her cover story with Prune magazine, Lizzy opened up about Dawn and just how grateful she is for the series.

“The show is about going through life and growing up together,” she shared. “There is a lot of sibling rivalry, a lot of adventure, and a lot of funny things that go on in the show. It truly is amazing because it’s a show about family, which is my favorite thing.”

Lizzy adds that the show is something that everyone can relate to, especially tweens.

“It’s something everyone can relate to, which has been so cool for me. It’s been one of the popular shows on Nickelodeon for the past four years. It’s all about family, so it’s something that kids can relate to. It’s not far from reality. I love playing my character, Dawn, because it’s like playing myself.”

Lizzy Greene Is Constantly Inspired by Blake Lively

Lizzy Greene looks absolutely stunning in her cover feature for Prune magazine.

The Nickelodeon starlet opened up with the glossy about acting, giving back and more — even citing the queen, Blake Lively, as someone who constantly inspires her.

“I love Blake Lively,” she gushes. “She’s a seasoned professional actor, and she’s so good at anything they throw her in.”

Lizzy adds, “She works hard, and I really respect her. She’s such a sweet person, and I’ve always heard so many good things about her. I’ve always looked up to her.”

It’s safe to say that Blake not only inspires Lizzy in acting, but also in giving back.

Lizzy shared about giving back where she can, that “because I have this position, I can use my position to help others. I find that so important. I can bring light to organizations that people may not even know about. I use my voice as an influencer.”

Nickelodeon Star Lizzy Greene Reveals What It's Really Like Being A Young Working Actor

Nickelodeon Star Lizzy Greene Reveals What It's Really Like Being A Young Working Actor

Lizzy Greene is here to shatter all your thoughts about what it really means to be a young actor in Hollywood.

The Nickelodeon actress stars on Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn and reveals that it’s actually more work than you think it is.

“We work really long hours,” she revealed to HuffPo’s The Tea newsletter. “People think of a kids’ TV show and don’t really know how much work actually goes into it.”

Lizzy adds, “You’re working 9.5 hours per day. When I first heard that number, I was really surprised. I thought it was just three days a week, go in for maybe four hours, and you shoot a show. But it’s much more complicated than that.”

And, don’t forget about school!

“You have to balance it with school, which is the number one priority. We work like actual adults. You have to work really hard to excel in this industry and at your craft,” Lizzy says.

“Luckily, I’ve loved every minute of it. I love the challenge.”

Rowan Blanchard Goes Barefoot While Accepting Youth Humanitarian Award

Rowan Blanchard Goes Barefoot While Accepting Youth Humanitarian Award

It’s no surprise Rowan Blanchard just won the Youth Humanitarian Award at the 2017 Children Mending Hearts’ Empathy Rocks event on Sunday (June 11) in Bel Air, Calif.

The 15-year-old actress and activist is such a powerful, inspiring voice and really, it has nothing to do with her age.

Rowan acccepted the award barefoot – which we love – and told the crowd, “Teenagers and kids feel we often get put to the side where we’re thought of as a conversation where adults will get to talk about us but we don’t get to be in the room. I think that’s why something like this is really important, because I get to be in the room.”

Also in attendance were Holland Roden (who took home the Global Humanitarian Award) Carter Jenkins, Georgie Flores, and Lizzy Greene.
