Meghan‘s dad Gary Trainor was involved in a scary accident on Friday (February 21) while he was crossing the street on foot in California’s San Fernando Valley.

Gary was struck by a car and the accident was an apparent hit and run, though thankfully Gary is currently in stable condition, according to TMZ.

The outlet reports he was rushed to a nearby emergency room. Details about the driver who hit Gary are currently unknown.

Meghan‘s dad has served as her mentor throughout her career and has been by her side on many red carpets over the years.

The couple were also joined at the show by their pal Meghan Trainor.

Bailee has been hitting up many events and shows over the past week. On Sunday (February 9), she stepped out for the Brock Collection show. She’s also been seen at the Longchamp fashion show, and she hit the runway in the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women fashion show!

Meghan Trainor gets behind the microphone to perform some fun tunes on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (February 6) in New York City.

The 26-year-old singer transformed hit songs into different versions during the Musical Genre Challenge game.

Meghan sang Selena Gomez‘s “Lose You to Love Me” as an EDM remix song and Harry Styles‘ “Adore You” as a soca song.

Meghan Trainor shares a laugh during an interview on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday (February 6) in New York City.

The 26-year-old singer was on the show at the same time as fashion designer Christian Siriano and she was asked about her thoughts on the music industry.

Andy Cohen asked Meghan about her thoughts on Lady Gaga‘s song “Stupid Love” leaking online three weeks ago and if she would have released it right away if that happened to her.

“I don’t [think artists should release their leaked songs],” Meghan said. “If my old songs get leaked, I’m like, ‘Uh-oh, take it down and run and hide.’ And I don’t know if that was a new single of hers, or something older.”

Meghan Trainor brought it to the runway for her performance during The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection 2020 held at Hammerstein Ballroom on Wednesday night (February 5) in New York City.

The 26-year-old singer hit the catwalk for the annual fashion show, which raises awareness for heart disease in women and wore a sparkly red jumpsuit.

Backstage, Meghan was seen hanging out with several other stars who walked in the show including Shania Twain and Sara Haines, and Meghan‘s husband, Daryl Sabara, was also seen there.

Meghan Trainor isn’t holding back.

The 26-year-old singer revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1 that she was in the middle of a mental breakdown during a live TV interview.

“I had like a mental breakdown and I had panic attacks live on television with Gayle King,” Meghan shared. “I was reading the nominees for the Grammy’s the year after I won and I was shaking and I was like, please don’t collapse on TV right now. We’re live. And as soon as they were like, cut, I fell and started scream crying and couldn’t breathe.”

Meghan continued: “And later, they took me away. I was supposed to do more work and they were like, ‘We’re done. This is it.’ It was because I had, I can’t say who but I had a lot of people tell me like, if you cancel on this 30 minute set, we’ll never play Meghan Trainor ever again. So I had everything. I had my Grammy, I had what people dream of for years.”

Meghan then revealed that she even went to the hospital because of a panic attack.

“I had everything I ever wanted, and they were threatening to take it away. So, my mind was like, no I’ll keep going, I’ll keep going. And my body was like, bye. And my body had to tell me, instead of me being able to take a break,” Meghan added. “Like the saddest thing is like, your whole team is in the hospital with you like, everything’s gonna be okay. And you’re like, like can’t talk. You cannot speak. So I was alone with my thoughts for way too long and I blew up. I freaked out and I freaked out for a long time.”
