Congrats to the cast and crew of iCarly!
Nickelodeon has ordered 13 new episodes of the series which will begin production in 2012 for the new season, Deadline reports.
The series, which was created by Dan Schneider, stars Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, Noah Munck, Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress.
The latest episode, iOMG, drew an audience of 7.4 million last weekend, making it the most watched basic cable program last week and ranks as basic cable’s top kids’ telecast this year in total viewers.

Miranda tweeted after the event, “Had an awesome time tonight. Loved getting to see Robyn perform. One of my favorite artists.”

In the new episode “iOMG,” Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and Freddie (Kress) suspect that Sam (McCurdy) might have a little crush on iCarly‘s new intern, Brad.
Their suspicions are reinforced when Freddie tests his new Pearpad mood reader app on Sam, and the results show that she is in love! But is her love for Brad, or someone else? The answer could change iCarly forever.
