It looks like Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj are clearing the air with each other after it seemed they were in a little war on Twitter following the announcement of the VMAs nominations.
Nicki was not nominated for Video of the Year and she called out MTV for celebrating videos starring “women with very slim bodies.”
Taylor thought the tweet was directed at her and accused Nicki of pitting women against each other. The rap star responded by saying that her tweets were not directed at Taylor.

Taylor Swift has taken to Twitter to respond to Nicki Minaj‘s shade regarding the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
The 25-year-old entertainer must have felt that the 25-year-old rapper was targeting her “Bad Blood” music video, which features several of Tay‘s model and actress pals.
Nicki started the exchange by tweeting, “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.”
“@NICKIMINAJ I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..,” Taylor wrote back.
Nicki then responded, “Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn’t say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @taylorswift13″

Last week, Madonna posted the below teaser clip and said the video would drop on Tuesday (June 16).
