Jacob Miller brought a folk/jazz flare to his The Voice audition!

The young singer sang and played guitar to the tune of Bob Dylan‘s “The Times They Are A-Changin’”.

Jacob got three chairs to turn – Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, and Nick Jonas.

Nick even offered for Jacob to team up with the Jonas Brothers and perform with the brother band. He ended up choosing Team Nick!

“Wow! That was crazy. @nickjonas thanks for taking me on 🤘🏻,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Welcome to the family, Jacob! Hope you don’t mind brothers who don’t understand personal space. #VoiceBlinds,” Nick shared on his Twitter.

Samuel Wilco showed off his soulful voice while singing Stevie Wonder‘s “Lately” on The Voice!

The 39-year-old military dad from Kentucky got coaches Kelly Clarkson and Nick Jonas to turn their chairs.

Right after his performance ended, Kelly and Nick‘s chairs had a malfunction and unexpectedly turned back around.

“That performance was unbelievable. And thank you for your service,” Nick said. “We need a voice like that in this competition, and you brought it today. You did it with ease. It kind of made me a little jealous and upset, actually, that I can’t do that.”

Allegra Miles wowed two of the judges on The Voice!

The 16-year-old singer sat at the piano and performed the Kings of Leon hit “Use Somebody”.

Kelly Clarkson and Nick Jonas both turned their chairs to try and get Allegra on their teams.

While talking with Allegra, Nick related with her on both being from musical families, and they both started writing around age 12. She ended up choosing Team Nick!

“Musical family [check] First song at 12 [check] Keeping my jacket [check] It was meant to be! Welcome to #TeamNick Allegra! #VoiceBlinds,” Nick wrote in a tweet.

Arei Moon is the third addition to Team Nick on The Voice!

The singer-songwriter performed the tour version of Kelly Clarkson‘s song “Miss Independent”.

Both Nick and Kelly turned their chairs for Arei, but Nick used his block to ensure he got her on his team.

“There were two outcomes here. 1) I block @kellyclarkson and get away unharmed and with an amazing artist… OR… 2) @kellyclarkson doesn’t let me walk out of here alive. Glad it was #1 :) #VoicePremiere,” Nick wrote on Twitter.

Joanna Serenko is officially Team Nick on The Voice!

After blowing away all four judges and getting a four chair turn, the 18-year-old singer from St. Louis, Mo., ended up picking Nick Jonas as her coach.

This marks the very first time Nick has a won a four chair turn battle. Such a big night for him!

“You see what happens when you fight for something you want? YOU GET IT! LET’S DO THIS JOANNA! #VoicePremiere,” Nick tweeted.

“Feeling so energized from all the love I’ve been receiving tonight. And also SO sorry @johnlegend… #TEAMNICK Red heart,” Joanna added on her own account.

Nick ended up with two contestants on Team Nick at the end of the night. Meet his other teammate Tate Brusa!

Nick Jonas takes the stage with Tate Brusa on The Voice season 18 premiere!

The 27-year-old Jonas Brother was trying to convince the 16-year-old to be on his team, and joined him on stage, took his guitar and helped him sing a certain way.

Tate ended up picking Nick as his coach, making him the first contestant on Team Nick!
