“Isn’t he so good in it?” Shailene recently gushed to The Daily Beast about Theo. “We auditioned a lot of guys, and a lot of these actors were playing male, masculine leaders. Even if they were good, they were still acting it. Theo walked in and just demanded it with his presence. Theo is smart as a whip�he majored in philosophy and traveled the world before he even became an actor�so he’s had a full life before the industry, and he didn’t feel like he had to prove his masculinity.”
She added, “With Theo, I think everyone knew. When we were filming, everyone said, ‘You and Theo have such crazy chemistry,’ but I didn’t realize it until I saw the movie. Theo is in it for the right reasons. He’s not in it for the glamour, the toys, or the excess, and neither am I, so we respect each other on that level. And we’re good teammates and have each other’s backs, and I think a lot of our chemistry stems from that.”

Just before the event, the 22-year-old actress and the 29-year-old actor were seen arriving at the airport together.
Shailene recently talked with THR about her style. “I realized this garment is going to be used over and over and over again,” she said of her red carpet attire. “If I was to show up wearing my five-toe shoes, my Melodia organic leggings and some hippie top, no one is going to take me seriously, and I probably would not be doing this interview right now for The Hollywood Reporter. When I go on a red carpet, I’m Shailene, but I’m also Shailene representing a movie. I’m there for my boss, for my employer, so part of that comes with wearing the uniform”.
She added, “My religion is the Earth, man. I believe in trees.”

Shailene Woodley makes her big entrance at a screening for her film Divergent at the Kerasotes Showplace Icon Theater on Tuesday night (March 4) in Chicago, Ill.
The 22-year-old actress was joined by her handsome co-stars Theo James and Ansel Elgort.
“My first meeting with Shailene, she comes over and gives me a big hug,” Ansel recently told MTV. “And I think I was taken by surprise a little bit, and I didn’t hug her back that much. And to this day, she tells me that she wasn’t sure she was going to like me because I didn’t hug her back.”

Shailene Woodley is wonderful in white at the screening of her new film, Divergent, held at Regal Atlantic Station on Monday night (March 3) in Atlanta, Ga.
The 22-year-old actress, in an Alexander McQueen dress and heels, was joined by her leading man, Theo James.
“I really relate to her ‘Fight, not flight’ — I’m a fighter,” Shailene recently told The Hollywood Reporter about relating to her character, Tris Prior.
She added, “But also, I grew up with two psychologist parents, so empathy, selflessness and compassion are engrained in me from a two-year-old. I think that juxtaposition of being brave and being a fighter…and being soft and gentle.”
