The first celeb of Dancing With The Stars season 27 was just revealed!
Val Chmerkovskiy will be partnered up with Nancy McKeon for the upcoming season, which kicks off on September 24th.
The news was announced this morning (September 5) on Good Morning America.
If you don’t know, Nancy starred on 1980s sitcom, The Facts of Life, with DWTS alum Kim Fields.
For Disney fans, she also played Demi Lovato‘s mom on Sonny With A Chance.

The official list of pros have been revealed for season 27 of Dancing With The Stars.
Revealed on GMA this morning (August 28), recent mirror ball champs Lindsay Arnold, Val Chmerkovskiy, and DWTS Athletes champ Jenna Johnson will be back on the ballroom floor this fall.
Other pros returning include Sharna Burgess, Gleb Savchenko, Artem Chigvintsev, Sasha Farber, Emma Slater, Witney Carson, Cheryl Burke, Alan Bersten, and Keo Motsepe.
Troupe member Brandon Armstrong has been upped to a pro, too. So exciting!
The celebs competing will be officially announced on September 12th.
Dancing With The Stars returns on September 24th on ABC.
Our thoughts are with Just JaredJenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy after learning that their adorable puppy, Anastasia, unexpectedly passed away this week.
The 24-year-old pro dancer announced the sad news on her Instagram this morning to fans.
“Our sweet angel Anastasia unexpectedly passed away last night. We are in complete and utter shock. I have truly never felt this type of sadness before,” Jenna wrote.
She continued, “To my sweet baby girl… thank you for officially making us a family. You made it the 3 of us. You had a very adventurous life! You went on two different tours, you traveled the country, you went on set, you refused to sleep anywhere but my face, you had a big crush on Daddy, your sassy energy was contagious, and you brought immense joy into our lives.”
“We treated you like our baby cause you definitely were. I wish you could have been a flower girl at our wedding, but I know you’ll be there in spirit. Go bark at everyone and everything and run around in heaven my love. We love and miss you so much.”

The Industry Dance Awards is an annual event that brings the global dance community together in celebration of creativity, industry innovation, and the fight against cancer.

Adam, Jenna, and Val are all working on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars: Juniors. Adam and Val are both judges while Jenna is one of the mentors. The new season premieres in October.

So far, young celebs like Ariana Greenblatt, Sophia Pippen, Miles Brown and Honey Boo Boo have been rumored to join the cast.
