OlderTammin Sursok & Nolan Funk: Spectacular Signers
Spectacular! stars Nolan Gerard Funk and Tammin Sursok have a stack of posters to sign for their many fans at the Justice store on Saturday afternoon (February 14) in Garden City, New York.
The twosome star as Courtney and Nikko in the made-for-TV musical about a high school choir that is fading in popularity. A wannabe rock singer, Nikko is convinced to join the choir by Courtney in hopes of winning the upcoming competition and cash prize.
Spectacular! premieres on Monday, February 16th @ 8PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon.

Heyy she’s on “young and the restless”. Heh,
Why are some people comparing this (what’s his name?) oh, Nolan Funk to Zac Efron and saying that he’s hotter and way better? Don’t be ridiculous. Zac’s up there and Nolan’s, not really down there, but he still has a lot to prove. And give me a break, Zefron is way way way hotter. Oh and Spectacular! can never beat HSM.

I have to say, I’m not too excited about this movie….but who knows it might be great!
Gosh Tammin will now be thinking she is the new Vanessa Hudgens lol. Ohhh well as long as the kiddies love the show thats the main thang.

The girl is so, so fug. And the guy is ugly, too, but in the millions of times the Spectacular trailer has run on TV, it looks like he might have some talent for singing.
But he’s just a Zac wanna-bee.
I think Tammin’s pretty cool. She’s good on Young & the Restless. It’s awesome to see her breaking out in other performances. At least she can say she’s been in a movie w/ Harrison Ford, unlike Vanessa. (She’ll be in Crossing Over w/ Harrison.)
Hey! These losers can never beat Zac and Vanessa. Zac is way hotter than this guy and Vanessa is soooo much prettier than whoever this girl is. Also Zanessa are more talented than these two wannabes. And they are more sucsessful and famous. Also I’m so not watching this. Dadnapped is gonna be so much better! Also this stupid movie will never beat HSM! HSM 4-ever! And who ever defends them I don’t give a **** about what you think.
Ever since Tammin got her boob job (while she was acting in Home and Away), she has thought she was the “bees knees”. Too short and stumpy think and a real follower of plastic surgery. Couldn’t get any acting roles in Australia (due to her lack of ability) not to mention lacklustre personality, not to mention she has *** most of the “Roosters” Aussie football team.

Aww i think this movie is going to be really good. I love High school musical but i wish people could stop complaining they are not trying to copy HSM and its nothing like that more like camp rock. They are 2 totally different things.

Tammin can’t act to save her life. She was awful on H&A and she’s even worse on Y&R.
thats the problem with nickeolodeon, they assume there successful and they are not. for instance there signing autographs before the movie even came out! NICKELODEON SUCKS, STOP COPYING DISNEY CHANNEL!!!

spectacular!, i have to admit, was impressive. the first time i watched high school musical, i had to stop within the first 10 minutes. it was that grueling. this movie, however, had some sense of a plot, some kind of reality to it. the ending was very clever, not like the generic, perfect fariytales that we see all too much.
personally, i belive that nolan gerard funk is far more talented than zac efron. i’ve never been amazed by zac, he’s too overrated and obnoxious for my liking. funk is fresh, and has raw, untapped talent. it was like a breath of fresh air, when he sang in the opening scene.
in the case of tammin, compared to vanessa, i think that she has a more unique voice, and a nice, peppy attitude that we haven’t seen before.
as for the music, how can you not say that spectacular!’s soundtrack is more versitile and downright enjoyable than hsm? its pop at heart, but at least has it’s moments of sweet rock ‘n roll. vocals are far more impressive, and i would actually listen to some of the songs on a regular basis. thats a lot, considering i’m a huge advocate of vampire weekend, the kooks, and the klaxons. this applies to a group of my friends, as well.
of course, these two movies are similar, and you can say that spectacular! is nick’s copy of high school musical, but so what? quality is what counts the most, no matter if the plot has been recycled or not. spectacular!, while obviously not perfect, is the striking and absorbing winner.

Spectacular Rocks!!! and it is a cool movie. HSM is so boring.
When Spectacular is on tv I watch it.
I hate Zac Efron. Spectacular! Is so much better then HSM and Nolan is so much cuter. He looks so different then in the movie. Anyways, why are people saying that Spectacular! copied High School Musical? Spectacular has many diffrences:
1. Spectacular! is more of a rock and roll thing
2. It doesn’t take place in a school
3. Spectacular! has better songs then in HSM
4. They all wear certain clothes and the clothes are much more cooler then in HSM
5. High School Musical has a nickname (HSM) and Spectacular! is just Spectacular!
The news had Nolan and Tammin interveiwed and they said that they’re planning on making a sequel to Spectacular! I’m excited! Watch out HSM here comes Spectacular!
Oh and my favorite part in the movie (Which I’ve seen about 300 times and know the parts by heart and songs) is when they get off the bus and Nikko/Nolan says “yippee kiyay” sarcastically but so funnily.
