Lucas Grabeel To Be Honored at Temecula Valley Film Festival

Lucas Grabeel might be best known for his role as Ryan Evans in the world phenomenon known as High School Musical, but it’s not his role as Ryan that is getting him top honors.

The 24-year-old actor, director and singer will be honored this week at the Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival. Lucas is actually the youngest person ever to receive the Pechanga Maverick Star Award for Outstanding Career Achievement in Film & Music.

Festival director Jo Moulton shared about the honorees, saying, “We are proud to honor these tremendously accomplished individuals and institution. Their collective body of work and achievements are amazing. From the iconic to the distinguished to the maverick young talent—we have them all this year!”

Lucas‘ films Chuckle Boy, The Real Son, “Get Your Ass On” and “You Got It” music videos, plus good pal Eric Baines‘ video, “Dive Bar Rockstar,” which Lucas directed will be shown at the festival. You can check them all out at 14341.com.

The Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival runs from Wednesday, September 9 through Sunday, September 13 in Temecula, Calif.
