Shawn Johnson tries her best to keep her hula-hoop spinning as she attends the Lunchables Lunch Note Promise Campaign held at the 92nd Street Y in NYC on Thursday afternoon (September 10).
The 17-year-old gymnast partnering with the Lunch Note Promise Campaign brought to you by the new Lunchables to inspire parents to give kids that same type of support and encouragement, in big and small ways.
Shawn shared about the campaign, “I know a little note can make a big impact. I hope the Lunch Note Promise Campaign will give kids across the country a little extra encouragement.”
The Lunchables team is asking parents and caregivers nationwide to promise to drop a note of encouragement into their child’s lunch. For every parent that logs onto LunchnotePromise.com and makes that promise, the Lunchables team will donate a meal to children and families in need through Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief charity, which serves an estimated nine million children each year. The goal is to turn 100,000 promises into up to 100,000 meals.
