Saoirse Ronan plants a kiss on her father, Paul‘s cheek as they walk the red carpet premiere of The Lovely Bones at the Savoy Cinema in Dublin, Ireland on Tuesday evening (January 26).

The 15-year-old actress spoke with the Irish Times about having a premiere in her hometown. Saoirse shared, “It’s really important for me because I feel like Dublin is my home. My family are from here, a lot of my friends are from here and it’s my home country. So to have Irish people around me and to share a movie I care so much about with them is really wonderful.”

Saoirse will also be honored by the US-Irish Alliance in Los Angeles on March 4th.
