AnnaSophia Robb is Celery Sweet

AnnaSophia Robb munches on a celery stick as she takes a quick break from filming Soul Surfer in Oahu, Hawaii on Tuesday afternoon (February 2).

The 16-year-old actress will be playing the real-life Bethany Hamilton, who was attacked by a shark off the coast of Hawaii when she was 13. Bethany, also pictured below, lost all of her left arm.

AnnaSophia was seen wearing a green-screen sleeve for her scenes today — her arm will be digitally removed with CGI for the final cut of the film.

urm..hello?! Dakota Fanning is fifteen, AnnaSophia is sixteen. She’s older than her. Dakota may have more succesful films, but AnnaSophia ALWAYS picks the most precise films that aren’t ‘WOW-OMG-BILLIONS-OF-DOLLARS-FLOODING’, but the ‘it’s-meaningful-and-beautiful’ type.

Another true life based story that should be told!! I know for a fact Annasophia Robb will do all the best of her ability to become this amazing survivor. Bethany showed dreams are possible if you truly believe in yourself. I can’t wait any longer to see this!! It will be amazing in so many different levels!!
