Mae Whitman is Parenthood Pretty

Mae Whitman laughs it up with on-screen mom Lauren Graham as they step out at the premiere of Parenthood at the Directors Guild Theatre in West Hollywood, Calif., on Monday night (February 22).

The 21-year-old actress plays Amber in the upcoming NBC series. Parenthood follows a large and imperfect family as they tackle the challenges of raising kids and starting over after setbacks.

Where do you know Mae from? You may recognize Mae from the old TV series State of Grace, or as the President’s Daughter in Independence Day. Mae is also the voice of Tinkerbell in the recent movies.

Parenthood premieres next Tuesday, March 2 @ 10PM ET/PT on NBC.
