Vanessa Marano in Scoundrels -- FIRST LOOK!

Check out your first look at Vanessa Marano in Scoundrels!

Vanessa, 17, stars as Hope West in the series, the youngest child of a criminal family. Leven Rambin and Patrick Flueger also star.

In the premiere episode “And Jill Came Tumbling After,” a family of small-town criminals is shaken when their father (David James Elliott) is sentenced to a surprisingly long prison term, leaving mom (Virginia Masden) to take care of the criminally enterprising brood. In an effort to keep her kids out of trouble, she decides it’s time for the family to go straight, despite their best efforts to maintain the status quo.

“And Jill Came Tumbling After” premieres Sunday, June 20 @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC.

This show looks like absolute rubbish when compared to the original series from New Zealand. The New Zealand show was awesome and I don’t know why they just don’t show it here. Why do the studios continue to remake overseas TV shows and movies when they are never as good as the originals. Do they think we are stupid and won’t get non-traditional American humor. This show will have its funny moments but it will never reach the levels of drama, action and comedy that the New Zealand one did. This is one of a few shows that had me in fits of laughter one minute and in tears the next. I recommend people get their hands on the original and watch it.
