OlderJennette McCurdy: EP Out Today!
Jennette McCurdy gets into the groove as she performs at Gilley’s at Treasure Island in Las Vegas on Monday afternoon (August 16).
The 18-year-old actress/singer’s new EP is out TODAY! Jennette shared with JJJ about the tracks, “The four songs give you a feel of the whole album that’s coming out later. ‘Not That Far Away’ is the lead single, ‘Put Your Arms Around Someone’ is kind of up-beat and groovy. You can dance and sing along to it. ‘Break Your Heart’ is the real hard core with a more rock edge to it. ‘Stronger’ is a deeper kind of song. It also has a hook and good catchy feel to it.”
Jennette also stopped by the iSupply Drive at the Frank Lee’s Meineke Car Care Center.

What we have here is a failure to communicate. There are actually five songs on the EP. The last song, “Me With You†is a kind of delightful “la la la, la la la la laâ€, love song that probably defines any attempt to categorize it as country or pop or any other thing, unless you call it a love song. Really good love songs are like that. Make you wonder who wrote it and who they were thinking about when they wrote it. Make you wonder if “wishes†should not be reconsidered as a vehicle for certain sorts of social change. Yeah.
Besides that, the EP really is excellent. As good as I expected, and I expected the best. What else could one expect from Jennette Michelle Faye McCurdy? Her voice makes me want to live, to live well, and to live with all cylinders of the old ticker firing. The photos are beautiful, and it was very thoughtful to include the seat covers of Miranda Cosgrove and herself. Guess you can buy just about anything nowadays, if you look hard enough.
AMAZING!! BEST VOCALS OF ANY TEEN STAR OUT THERE. THIS IS REAL COUNTRY. : ) SHE INDEED HAS A FUTURE IN MUSIC!!
