David Archuleta sings to the packed crowd as he performs on FOX’s New Year’s Eve Live program on Friday night (December 31).
The 20-year-old musician performed two of his new songs off of his new album, “Elevator” and “The Other Side of Down.” Great performances below!
David tweeted after his high-energy performance, “Happy New Year!! Hope this new year has a great start for everyone! I wonder what this year will bring.”

Ahh love these performances!
I love The Other Side of Down. I can’t stop watching “Ha” at 34 secs and the smile at 1 min and 12 secs. Wish people would give his music a chance. If only we could get a picture with him and Selena. That would create some attention LOL.

The Other Side of Down is so fun and positive. Everyone knows he has chops, right? He looks hot, too. What was that at the ending of Elevator? That part was not in the CD version. People say that he always changes up parts as he feels like, and that ending was the fabulous vocals. Moreover, he wrote both songs. This gifted musician blew me away when he sang with Mormon Tabernacle Choir, which will be broadcasting on PBS next year.

Most of singers are good on CDs but when they perform, their voices are not as good as their voices on CDs. They need some background dancers and some outfits, lights to boost their performances. David doesn’t need all of those. He can sing accapella and that will be amazing too. Only quite a few singers can do that. Yes it’s true David always makes some changes in each of song when he performs, he never lipsyncing. That’s why we can see the difference between David’s performance with the others’ ones. I think he is underrated singer. Sooner or later people who like to hear and enjoy quality stuffs will find that David is a real deal.
This videos are ridiculously amazing! David has really grown as a performer!
