OlderEmma Watson & Mae Whitman Find More 'Perks'
Emma Watson offers up a warm smile as she chats with a crew member on the set of The Perks of Being A Wallflower in Pittsburgh on Thursday afternoon (May 19).
The 21-year-old actress, who just had her makeup done for a scene, plays Sam in the upcoming film.
Also spotted walking to set: Mae Whitman with a bright pink streak in her hair.
JJJ Fun Fact: Stephen Chbosky, who wrote the book, is an Upper St. Clair High School graduate — where the movie is being filmed!

Emma looks amazing as Sam!! And Mae looks so cute!! The casting for this film has been perfect! I can’t wait to see it!
she’s dressed a little girly-er than i thought sam would, but since stephen chbosky (the author) is the director, i guess that how he pictured her.
Emma doesn’t look in-character at all. This looks like something she would wear casually in the many candid shots we have of her. Especially that jumper, that ballet flats and that hair. The only thing different is she has stage make up on.
I love them both.
