Selena Gomez smiles giddily at the crowd’s reaction as she hosts the Monte Carlo Mall Tour at Laurel Park Place on Monday afternoon (June 27) in Livonia, Mich.
The 18-year-old actress/singer chatted with the crowd about her new flick, opening THIS WEEKEND, before performing “Who Says” and saying goodbye.
“Thanks Detroit, getting ready for my flight by the time I land my album should be out!!!! Only 3 and a half hours…” Selena tweeted after her stop.

I love her so much. She looks gorgeous and I also love the fact that she recycles her clothes. It makes her seem normal and down to earth.

I was at Laurel Park Place Mall and she did not perform for the crowd. As a matter of fact, she was not on stage for more than 10 mins. It was a huge disappointment for the fans that stood in line for hours.
I went to the mall where she was at…she made ppl wait 6hrs for her 2 minute speech!! She was definetly not worth it!!

I was there yesterday, I waited for 2 and a half hours with my little sister, She came late and she sang nothing, not a single song. She was there for 10 minutes at the most. She also didn’t sign pictures, which I could understand because there was alot of us, but she didn’t sign anything. Not a single one. My little sister was crushed, mentally and physically. If you read this selena, I hope you’re happy.
Too bad no one there hardly knew what was going on. Didn’t seem organized. Needed better planning, that mall was way too small to host something of that nature.
