OlderTom Felton: Chicago Cubs Ceremonial Pitcher!
Tom Felton throws out the first pitch of the Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros game held at Wrigley Field on Friday night (July 22) in Chicago, Ill.
The 24-year-old actor watched the Cubs win over the Astros, 4-2 and after the game headed over to Hollywood Blvd Cinema in Woodridge to greet some very lucky Harry Potter fans.
“So today i pitched a baseball for the 1st time at Wrigley Field stadium,i was nervous but did ok,the sandlot kids taught me well it seems x,” he tweeted.
Did you know that Tom was first up for the roles of Harry and Ron in the highest grossing franchise of all time? It’s true, but ultimately he won the role of Draco after dying his hair multiple times.
“Finally, Chris Columbus said, ‘Dye his hair blond and slick it back,’ and that was the birth of Draco,” Tom told the Washington Examiner. “I’m not quite sure how I felt about that one. Obviously, he saw something very malicious and horrible in me as an 11-year-old.”

I loved the scene in the forest where Harry is walking towards
Voldemort,and facing his own death.My ultimate favorite though is the
scene in which Harry breaks the elder wand,and stands alongside Ron an
Hermione on the bridge.I felt like that scene was completely for the
actors…there was no dialogue,they just held hands and stood
there,there was no need of dialogue.
I will truly miss these movies,they were my childhood, and millions of
others childhoods.Harry Potter is the boy who lived…and who will
always live in our hearts to many generations to come.HP brought to
our generation what Star Wars brought to previous ones, a truly
brilliant experience and inventiveness that rarely comes around.

Okay, so here’s the deal. I am the huge diehard fan of Harry Potter and I know that it seems like im one of those screaming fans but im not. I love the harry potter films cause they mean something to me. the untiy and friendship thing in the whole thing just makes me want that so much. They all love each other so much. And Tom Felton, well, there are many things i could say about him… lol; but the main thing is i think he is an amazing actor and would love love love more than anything in the world to meet him. And it makes me so sad to think that i am only one in a million girls that think that. I have no chance. But i have my movies and imagination,….and for that…i thank you Tom. x
