Emma Stone cuddles into Ryan Gosling as they film scenes for The Gangster Squad at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon (September 20).

The 23-year-old actress plays Grace Faraday in the period film, about the LAPD’s efforts to keep East Coast crime bosses out of 1940s Los Angeles. Sean Penn and Nick Nolte also star.

JJJ Fun Fact: This is Emma‘s second movie with Ryan. Earlier this summer, the two starred in Crazy, Stupid, Love together.
