Julianne Hough shimmers and shines as she steps out at the premiere of Footloose held at the Franklin Theatre on Thursday night (October 6) in Nashville, Tenn.

The 22-year-old actress wore a gorgeous blue Monique Lhuiller navy pearlescent sequin chiffon strapless side draped cocktail dress with Misaki bangles and a M.C.L By Matthew Campbell Laurenza ring.

Julianne recently chatted with Parade mag about the differences and similarities between herself and character Ariel.

“I think she tends to put up this wall when you see her emotion coming out. There is this scene in the movie when she basically comes on to Ren and he basically shuts her down. Before she can get emotional about it she switches subjects and goes do something crazy,” Julianne shared. “I think that she definitely holds up her walls like she is this bad girl but she’s a little girl on the inside. That’s what I do. I put my hard face on and cry on the inside.”
