Elizabeth Olsen Stops By The Today Show

Elizabeth Olsen pulls on the hood of her jacket as she leaves NBC Studios after appearing on The Today Show on Wednesday morning (October 19).

The 22-year-old actress opened up about her luck with landing the roles of the title characters in her new movie, Martha Marcy May Marlene.

“It was more exciting, because I don’t think you get to seize those opportunities as much being a young, new actress,” Elizabeth shared. “I got very lucky that the director wanted an unknown actress for this part.”

She added about any advice she’s taken from her older sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley: “They lead by example. They have really strong work ethics and have been working their entire lives. Just knowing it’s about the work and following your passions.”
