Jeremy Irvine arrives at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City on Thursday night (January 5).

Decked out in Burberry, the British actor chatted with David Letterman about his fast rise to fame and working with horses on set.

“I had never been on a horse in my life [before War Horse] and I had to learn very quickly,” Jeremy shared. “I had to completely learn from scratch and it’s amazing because I was training with the horses. Hopefully what you see on screen reflects a real relationship.”
