Vanessa Hudgens squeezes herself between Josh Hutcherson and Dwayne Johnson at the photocall for their new flick, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island held at the Hotel St. Regis on Friday (January 27) in Mexico City.
The 23-year-old actress wore a gorgeous navy gown with Jewels By Dunn to the event where her on-screen father Luis Guzman also joined them.

Vanessa also just announced her new SU2C auction — where you can bid and win on her Candie’s Couture dress she wore at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards
“I am proud to continue to support Stand Up To Cancer and all the incredible work they do,” Vanessa shared in a statement. “Cancer touches all of our lives in some way and I am honored to donate this gorgeous Candie’s Couture gown to help to raise funds and awareness for this important initiative.”

i took my cousin to see this in 3D yesterday and it was worth the $$ was a great movie for all ages and the 3D effect was done very well, vanessa and josh where great together

Yes, Vanessa is really coming into her own. She’s maturing nicely and the hectic tour has certainly done her good. She looked sexy in her bikinis in Hawaii. Love her chemistry with Josh, would like them to do another movie together.
@Mar: That couldn’t be further from the truth! Everyone I’ve talked to said they only went to see it because Vanessa is in! A lot of people all commented on what an amazing job Vanessa did & the only other cast member they mentioned was Josh!
Maybe some of you should open their eyes to some things concerning Vanessa, her life, and this movie/her career.
Actingwise it’s the worst movie she has ever done but there’s light at the end of the tunnel with GS and FG. Hopefully these movies show her potential. It was just her luck that someone made sure she joined CAA!
Promotion for Journey 2 has been crap so far when Vanessa was concerned. In Australia they tried to make it look like Josh and Vanessa were once a couple and they started dating while they were filming. When you’d really think about this PR strategy, Vanessa can’t win in this situation because she was outed as a cheater and a liar!
Moving on to promo in Hawaii: Enter Austin who has nothing to do with the movie but he certainly was used for its promotion. That’s exactly why the main promotional work took a backseat and it was more about them acting all “buddy buddy” on the beach. Sadly, the last photoshoot went wrong and Vanessa had to deal with a wardrobe malfunction which proves that the haters were right all along.
What exactly has been REAL about her promo so far? Showing your 19 years old “ex” that you moved on to a 20 years old? Showing the world that it’s completely normal to “frolick” on the beach totally styled?
It’s been so over the top FAKE so far that Vanessa needed to make a visit to the real world and her real friends.
I know that most of you are thinking that Vanessa “is just living her life” and that “she’s the happiest she’s ever been”. Think about these statements and you’ll see that you are only deluding yourself. It they were true what did she do all those years before? Living an unhappy life that wasn’t her own?

I honestly was so excited to see Journey 2, but I was expecting it to be be more directed for the younger children genre, but it was amazing. The ENTIRE cast did an amazing job. There really was something in there for everyone. I think they did a really good performance with all their characters and it was so nice to hear Dwayne singing. I loved it!
And haters need to cease and dismiss. When you come here to purposely insult and hurt someone, that makes you a bully. Us fans come here to show support and love for someone we respect and admire, all we have is love, but haters will only be negative and cruel. Being mean or being a bully isnt a way to live your life. If you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all.
I love the chemistry between Vanessa and ALL her castmastes, from Journey 2, to every and any other movie she has or will complete. I cant wait to see her new movies this year. She’s amazing :)

It’s frustrating to see that Vanessa is dressed appropriately for this event but the guys get to go dressed like they’re heading out for coffee at the Coffee Bean.
@Mar: excuse me mar, i went to watch it twice with my friends because i love vanessa, my friends they dont like watching movies, but when i told them vanessa is in it, lets go. like sucker punch my friend asked me who r the other girls, no clue who they r, so don’t be rude to those who really support her, the whole cast is amazing and i like josh now.
