Abigail Breslin is definitely going to the dark side.

Variety reports that the 16-year-old actress has signed on to star opposite Halle Berry in The Hive.

Set against the backdrop of a 911 call center, this fast-paced suspense pic follows an operator (Berry) who must work to save a young girl (Breslin) who is being attacked by a serial killer.

Brad Anderson, who will direct, shared in a statement (via Cinema Blend), “Abigail is always wonderful playing vulnerable characters so I feel really lucky to have her for this role.”
