Zac Efron on Nicholas Sparks: He's 'Such An Impressive Guy'

Zac Efron on Nicholas Sparks: He's 'Such An Impressive Guy'

But perhaps the more important question: Did any of Nicholas Sparks’ fictional wooing inspire Zac?
Zac Efron slips into the BBC Radio studios in London on Tuesday morning (April 24).

Just last night, the 24-year-old actor hit the red carpet at the European premiere of his new film, The Lucky One.

Zac recently sat down with MTV and dished on working alongside author Nicholas Sparks, who penned the book.

Nick is such an impressive guy, so thoughtful, so intelligent,” Zac shared. “And he’s also just really fun to be around. It’s really nice to have him with us on this journey. I’m learning a lot from him. He’s one of the most intelligent guys I know.”

Boy he and that Taylor really know how to pour on the BS. They both admitted they had never ever read a Nicholas Sparks book even when they got the script. They did it for the money just like any actor would . it’s too bad they have to lie. They are both milking this thing to the bitter end. He must have a cut of the profits.

I think it’s great that Zac had such a great experience making this film,
he got along with all the cast and crew and people have nothing but good things to say about him. Nicholas Sparks really liked Zac and even had him to his home to meet his family, he didn’t have to do that unless he really liked him. It really was a win,win situation. BTW looks so adorable and I love the interviews from Britain.

Also he never said anything in this interview about even reading one of his books so I don’t know why tc is saying zac and Taylor are being cuz I had never heard Taylor even bring up anything about reading one of his books and tc doesn’t understand tht zac could have read the notebook later on after he finished the film…so I would just ignore what tc has to say about zac and Taylor being cuz he or she has no clue what they are talking about.

at least zac is smart enough to not say sparks is a good/great writer or that he creates great characters. lol

He is the author of the book and zac is staring in the movie. Of course he is an impressive, thoughtful, intelligent guy. He is rich and successful and He is trying to impress the stars of the movie. It is not like he would necessarily be fun with the average person or even the general movie crew. But a world famous star is a different story. I hate when the stars do these press tours. All they do is bull ****.

Honestly there is an interview that both Taylor and Zac said they read The Lucky One after they read the script. In the interview they both say they hadn’t read any of his other books but like the rest of us had seen all the movies made from his books.

@kami:

Actually, he said exactly that in several interviews. But I don’t look to Zac Efron for literary judgements.
