Adelaide Kane Lands Lead in CW Pilot 'Reign'

Adelaide Kane has been cast in the lead role of the upcoming CW pilot Reign.

According to Deadline, the 22-year-old Australian actress will play Mary Queen of Scots as the show chronicles her rise to power in the French court.

The pilot will be directed by Brad Silberling (NYPD Blue, Casper) with a script written by Stephanie Sengupta (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) and Laurie McCarthy (Beverly Hills: 90210, Felicity).

Adelaide is also set to appear seen in the upcoming season of Teen Wolf.
