American Idol: Janelle Arthur Sings 'Just a Kiss' - Watch Now!

Janelle Arthur gets animated as she sings Lady Antebellum‘s “Just a Kiss” on the Wednesday (February 27) episode of American Idol.

The 23-year-old Tennessee native received mixed feedback from the judges, but Randy Jackson called her his “favorite country singer” in the competition.

“The melody kept pulling you back down,” Keith Urband said. “It wasn’t a great song choice.”

“Don’t ever do that again,” Nicki Minaj agreed. “You don’t have to try so hard.”

Luckily, Janelle was one of the five lucky girls to move on to the Top 20.
