Arielle Gold and Katie Eberling wear their Team USA gear proudly in these new shots for the USOC.

The two athletes are headed to the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics in February next year and JJJ can’t wait to see them compete in bobsled and snowboarding.

“At no point did I not feel safe,” Katie recently told the Chicago Tribune about the heightened security measures in place around the games, since the Boston Marathon bombings. “There was a huge security presence. It was ten-fold what we see at the World Cup races and the world championships.”

She added, “(Olympic) visitors are going to have to be aware of their surroundings and be smart, but I have full faith we are going to be protected and taken care of.”
