Lauren Alaina: LAX Lady

Lauren Alaina is all smiles while catching a flght out of LAX airport in Los Angeles last week.

The 18-year-old former American Idol contestant recently chatted with The Boot about her upcoming sophomore album.

“I’ve completed four songs at this point and it’s a long process,” she shared. “The first album didn’t take long at all because I was rushed and I had to get it out, because it was right after Idol. This album, I get to take my time.”

Lauren added, “I went in and recorded those songs, but there’s no guarantee they’ll make the album. But it’s a really cool process and you learn a lot about yourself in the studio. The first time was so fast that I didn’t really get to take it all in. Now I can relax and calm down and focus on what I’m doing.”
