'Glee' Season Finale Recap: 'All or Nothing'

'Glee' Season Finale Recap: 'All or Nothing'

The glee club competed in Regionals during tonight’s (May 9) episode of Glee!

SPOILER ALERT: DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!

But so much more also went down! The “Catfish” was revealed, Rachel (Lea Michele) auditioned for Broadway, two people got married, and there was an (almost) proposal too!

Click inside to find out what went down during tonight’s episode…

And the “Catfish” is… UNIQUE (Alex Newell)! At first, Marley (Melissa Benoist) tried to take the fall, but Unique eventually confessed, which obviously really upset Ryder (Blake Jenner).

Meanwhile, Rachel auditioned for Broadway’s Funny Girl with a heart-stopping performance, which made her tear up. And in the end… we didn’t even find out if she made it!

Brittany (Heather Morris) got into MIT (because apparently she’s a secret genius), so said her goodbyes to the glee club.

Oh, and Emma (Jayma Mays) returned to finally marry Will (Matthew Morrison) in a low-key wedding.

Sadly, Blaine (Darren Criss) didn’t propose to Kurt (Chris Colfer)… yet.

Worst finale that I have see in a very long time. The whole time the story followed the Glee club who has honestly become full of new faces that have not added much to the season’s storylines except recycled love triangle crap that Rachel, Fin, and Puck ( or Quin) did first and second season. They left out one of the more interesting questions: Did Rachel get the role? They made this big to do about Blaine proposing and guess what HE DIDN’T!They left unanswered questions, answered obvious questions, centered the story in the less popular characters, and the worst part is it was just plain boring and predictable.I know they had to rewrite the script because Corey Monteith was unable to be a part of it, but honestly this shows that they dis not deserve a two season pick up.

I can’t wait to see if Rachel made the final cut for Funny Girl and we have to wait so long to find out. I was also surprised when Unique came out and revealed herself as the catfish. On a lighter note, it was great to see Will and Emma finally wed. I was on the way home from work at DISH when this was on but I didn’t miss it. With the DISH Anywhere app, I was able to watch on my iPad, while on the train ride. This makes it so I don’t have to be at home to enjoy live and recorded shows.

This class of the New Directions did not deserve to win Regionals – The songs were boring and forgetable. Couldn’t even tell you what they were now Unique should have had a solo as she is the only interesting performer now.

The series really should just move the focus to New York. Stick with the original amazing characters and not the attempted character clones in Ohio.

It didn’t seem like a season finale, it seemed more like an episode before a long hiatus. Last year season finale was very emotional. I don’t think they had enough time to tell each story. The best part of the episode is when Brittany said her goodbyes. It should have ended with 2 big cliff hangers. One when Blaine proposing to Kurt and gets interrupted by the glee club and doesn’t give an answer and the second one is when we are about to find out who wins the regional and the show ends.
