We can’t wait until next week’s premiere of The Fosters!

In fact, JJJ has 5 fun spoilers just for you!

The show follows a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms. Stef Foster (Teri Polo), a dedicated police officer, and her partner Lena Adams (Sherri Saum), a school Vice Principal, have built a close-knit, loving family with Stef’s biological son from a previous marriage, Brandon (David Lambert), and their adopted twins Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Jesus (Jake T. Austin).

Their lives are disrupted in unexpected ways when Lena meets Callie (Maia Mitchell), a hardened teen with an abusive past who has spent her life in and out of foster homes. Lena and Stef warily welcome Callie into their home thinking it’s just for a few weeks, until a more permanent placement can be found.

Here are 5 things you can expect from the premiere:

2. Drama and laughs
While the show is labeled a drama, it doesn’t go without its funny moments. In fact, Jesus’ love for videogames will have you in stiches. Jake is amazing in this role!

3. Sacrifice
Brandon makes a selfless decision to help out someone else even though it affects his future. And this decision helps set up an amazing story with these two characters going forward with the series.

4. Dangerous encounters
Callie is insistent on carrying out a plan that lands multiple people in harm’s way. And when we say danger, we mean it.

5. A change of heart
By the end of the premiere episode, someone’s opinion of Callie and her struggles is altered. And it makes him/her do something rather unexpected.
