Love the new promo pic, but Misha is one of the stars of the show now in season nine; a regular. I think his name should have been in the article’s title, too.

What I have seen of every ep of SPN since season five ended has been abysmal. I quit actively watching then, but occasionally drop in to see how badly things have declined–boy, this fandom must be happy with abject dreck, for this recent set of plots and storylines to be considered worthy of viewing.

This is sad, because I can still remember when critics used to describe Supernatural as “the best show on Television.”

The smart thing to do would have been to end this show after Dean went to Hell. This would have made a point, that you cannot go toe-to-toe with the dark, and always come out winners. It also would have prevented the Boys’ getting their “Magic Ticket” in the form of Castiel, who is just there to solve problems for them, and resurrect them when they get killed (yet again).

It is hard to feel for characters who can always get magicked back to life, no matter how many times they die; killing them loses impact, and flattens every interaction afterward. Show was good once, but no longer.
