Jordin Sparks on Jason Derulo's 'Marry Me' Song: 'I Was Speechless'

Just when you thought Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo couldn’t get more adorable, they do.

While premiering his new single “Marry Me” on On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Jason opened up about writing the song and Jordin revealed just how she reacted to it.

“I found a very special lady, and this song is talking about how amazing that moment will be when I finally do get down on one knee and propose,” Jason shared.

Jordin added, “I was actually pretty speechless [when I heard it]. He wrote it about a year and a half ago, so it was still pretty early in our relationship. But he played it in the car and I just kind of like froze because it was so pretty. It’s just so beautiful he writes from life experiences.”

She continued, “[I was] not so much frightened as much as I was like surprised because I wasn’t expecting it, but I was stuck before he played the song for me. I was already madly in love with him.”
