Jenna Coleman: 'Doctor Who' 50th Breaks BBC America Records

The 27-year-old actress is still celebrating the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special – which not only broke BBC America ratings records, but scored big at the box office!

During the special’s first telecast on Saturday, a total of 2.4 million viewers tuned in. For the encore, it was 3.6 million.

At the box office, where the special was screened in 3D in select cities, Day of the Doctor brought in $4.8 million — on Monday, two days after the special aired on television. That made it the numeber two movie in America, just behind The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
