Ashley Wagner: 4th After Short Program at U.S. Nationals

Ashley Wagner blows a kiss to the cameras while waiting for her scores during the short program at the 2014 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships held at TD Garden on Thursday (January 9) in Boston, Mass.

The 22-year-old skater placed 4th, with a total of 64.71, just behind Gracie Gold, Polina Edmunds and Mirai Nagasu.

“Going into the long program, I feel I am exactly where I want to be,” Ashley shared with press afterwards.

She added, “I really like being the fighter. I really like going after the top prize, not being the one who has to fend everybody off.”
