Kendrick Sampson Lands Series Regular Role on Fox's 'Gracepoint' (Exclusive Quotes)

Amazing news – Kendrick Sampson just landed a huge new gig!

According to Deadline, the Vampire Diaries actor scored a series regular role on Fox’s upcoming event series Gracepoint, which is a U.S. remake of the UK’s crime drama Broadchurch about the investigation into a shocking murder in a small, coastal town. He will play Dean Iverson, who works bussing tables at his uncle’s restaurant to help pay for college.

“I’m super stoked about getting to work with such a high caliber of talent from top to bottom,” Kendrick exclusively told JJJ. “The list of top tier talented writers, cast, crew, show runners, producers, network execs and casting seems is just under a mile long. I’m honored and humbled.”

Kendrick added, “Oh man! Can’t wait to get to work with all of these amazing individuals! I don’t even want to start to list names of all of the phenomenal talent in front and behind the scenes. Literally everyone is widely well respected…and that’s an understatement. I’m humbled and grateful!”

He joins a cast that includes David Tennant, Breaking Bad‘s Anna Gunn, Oscar nominee Jacki Weaver, Nick Nolte, Michael Pena, Kevin Zegers, and Kevin Rankin. Production is set to begin next week in Vancouver, Canada.
