UPDATE: Selena and Austin are not seeing each other, despite multiple reports. A source told People mag, “Maybe they are more than just friends but they are certainly not dating. They have a lot of respect for each other.”
Selena Gomez and Austin Mahone are dating, Us Weekly reports.
According to the mag, the 21-year-old songstress and 17-year-old singer were set up by mutual friend Taylor Swift. “They’re seeing each other,” a source said.
This isn’t the first time these two have been linked. Rumors surfaced of a romance last summer when they were spotted on a group trip to Disneyland that also included Emblem3 and Sel‘s BFF Francia Raisa.
“I’m still single,” Austin told JJJ back in July 2013. “I was in LA the same time she was and she just invited me to Disneyland. I met her at the Billboard Awards.”
In October 2013, Austin was reportedly dating Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello, while Selena was seen hanging out with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber earlier this month.
